The long awaited return of our favorite Portland book fair, just in time for the holidays.
Ally Young held a reading release for her Two Plum Press book ‘Nell’ in Brooklyn, New York at Unnameable Books!
On Sunday, October 9th at 2pm in our namesake place, Two Plum Park.
Publisher Andrew Barton will be reading from his new bread book ‘The Long Loaf: bread for all days,’ which was published under our new culinary imprint Nickel Dinner. Tasting portions of freshly made breads with good butter will be on offer to snack on during the event!
Joshua James Amberson, author of recent collection of short fiction and short essays ‘Slow Motion Heroics,’ the previous personal essay collection ‘Everyday Mythologies’ will be reading from his new title ‘Writing Exercises (and various approaches to life on earth).’ (040) That title is actually the second in our new ‘ABOUT’ series, after Tom Cowan and Gary Lindorff’s ‘A Brightness Through The Trees’ (Conversations with Poetry)’ (039).
Sasha Moore, tattoo artist behind Hedgewitch Tattoo will be reading from her ‘ABOUT’ series title ‘Permanent Art On Temporary People: how to get a good tattoo, from concept to skin’ (041).
Our collaborative cassette series with Antiquated Future Records has just released two new career spanning compilations covering the music of Will Oldham as Palace Music and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy from 1992-2020.
